Arriving in Dubai, the first thing I did was go to the sea. “Fresh milk” was on the tip of my tongue. The water is fantastically warm. The sand is clean and soft, like silk. Palm trees, sunset, and next to it is the magnificent and unique Burj Al Arab. So I welcomed the city of my dreams, the city of the future!
We stayed at the CityMax Al Barsha hotel. The hotel has a very good location, just a two-minute walk from the Mall of the Emirates, through which you can get to the metro. The hotel corresponds to the price-quality category. Cozy, compact, modern, great staff! All major attractions in Dubai could be reached by metro. Quite comfortable and inexpensive.
During my vacation, I tried to visit the main famous places of Dubai, but to see all its delights, a two-week vacation will not be enough. The image of the majestic and modern Burj Khalifa skyscraper will forever remain in my memory. It is impossible to convey in words my feelings when I first saw him. We arrived late in the evening. The first outstanding sight was the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the World, which sparkled with lights. In good weather, the building is visible even from the neighboring emirate of Sharjah. We stayed in the beautiful city hotel Samaya hotel deira 5*. And already in the morning we swam in the pool located on the roof; by the way, almost all city hotels are equipped with them. After breakfast, a free and fairly comfortable bus was provided to the beach, where we went. The beaches in the Emirates are something amazing! Snow-white sand, azure sea with a gentle sunset and a pleasant sea surf... If you find yourself on a free, that is, unequipped beach, then the only drawback will be the lack of showers and changing cabins.
Paid beaches (Jumeirah beach park and Almamzar beach park) cost 5 dirhams (about 92 rubles) and they are equipped with everything you need.

After walking through shopping centers, in the evening we took the metro to one of the modern areas of Dubai - Dubai Marina. It is also called the Venice of Dubai. The area is especially beautiful at night: there are glowing skyscrapers around, reflected in the waters of a man-made canal, and many creative establishments.
The next day, a trip to the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, was already planned. The Sheikh Zayed White Mosque can rightfully be considered the eighth wonder of the world. And it became an exception - everyone is allowed in (and not just Muslims), women are given national clothes, which are called abaya. The structure is truly majestic and divine.
The next day was no less interesting: a sightseeing tour of Dubai is a must! All the main attractions of the metropolis + historical facts were put together very succinctly.
Palm Jumeirah is another wonder of the world, a man-made palm island. You can get there by taxi, for reasonable money and comfortably. And then on the monorail to the luxurious Atlantis the Plam Dubai hotel, where we spent another day, namely in the Aquaventure water park, with direct access to the beach inside Palma. For lovers of water activities, the day will fly by unnoticed and eventful. You can relax and float on a donut along an artificial river with a real current, while you float, it seems that the world has stood still, and you just enjoy the moment and realize how great it is here!
