The Dream Island park will open on the territory of the Nagatinskaya floodplain in the south of Moscow in 2019. Its area will reach about 100 hectares (approximately 140 football fields). It will be one of the largest indoor theme parks in the world. On its territory there will be a natural area with lakes, a hotel, a children's yachting school, restaurants and shops.

Theme park

In its very center, under a giant glass dome, an all-season themed indoor amusement park will open. In addition to the attractions, a city promenade will appear on the covered territory of the complex - a walking area, where copies of world architectural monuments and landmarks will be installed, a concert hall and a cinema with 17 halls.

The amusement park is divided into themed areas. For example, in the Lost World of Dinosaurs area, a giant Fire Temple swing will be installed. They will be located in the center of the sanctuary, stylized as the ruins of an ancient city of South American Indians. The swing will lift visitors to a height of up to 20 meters. They will be able to accommodate 40 people at the same time and will be the largest in Moscow.

Guests will find themselves above the water jets of light and music fountains and streams of artificial fire, which will be created using special effects. This attraction will become one of the main ones. There are only a few dozen similar swings in the world. Visitors will be able to ride both at a relaxed pace and at an extreme pace, which will involve sudden changes in height and circular rotation.

For fans of virtual reality, there will be an attraction called “Flight into the World of Dinosaurs”, which operates on the principle of a 4D cinema. The movable platform on which the chairs will be installed will create the effect of flight, and a huge spherical screen will show the prehistoric world with dinosaurs and the most ancient plants on the planet.

Also, movable models of dinosaurs and fantastic creatures will be installed here, and you will also be able to get acquainted with new images of famous fairy tale heroes. They were created by the best Russian artists specifically for the Dream Island park.

You can find yourself in New York in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles zone. At the entrance there will be an attraction “Tower of Fall”, in which enemies will have to escape from the main enemy of the turtles - the First Krang. Here you can fly over the recreated city on the giant Baxter Stockman's Hammer swing.

In the turtle zone One of the largest attractions in the park will appear - a roller coaster. Unlike most European and American counterparts, they will be “dark”. The route for the movement of visitors will be laid indoors. The carts will be able to reach speeds of up to 80 km per hour, going around double loops with a 360-degree flip.

You can meet Dracula, Frankenstein, the Mummy and the Invisible Man in the Hotel areaTransylvania”, recreated based on the cartoon of the same name. Guests will enjoy multimedia and interactive attractions and exciting tours of the rooms.

If you decide to tickle your nerves, then you should go to the “House of Horrors”. This is an old and creepy building with dark rooms and boarded up windows. Inside you can stumble upon bats, cobwebs and ghosts.

An “ice” castle 25 meters high will be built in the “Snow Queen’s Castle” zone. You can also meet its owner in the throne room. A restaurant will be opened here where guests can taste delicious dishes. There will be a traditional fair and a children's carousel in front of the entrance.

At Smurf Village, young guests can ride in candy booths that rise high above the ground, on the Magic Storks attraction or on the children's Ferris wheel. Here you can meet famous Smurfs: Cheerful, Lazy and even Papa Smurf.

Guests of the park will be able to visit the “House of Papa Carlo”. This thematic area is dedicated to the world in which Pinocchio lived. Here you can explore Papa Carlo’s workshop, look into the puppet theater, where the performance is about to begin, and into the toy store.

There will also be an area dedicated to motor sports. The first virtual reality racing track in Russia will be built here. The height of the racing track will be 11 meters and the length will be 210 meters. Young guests of the park will be able to feel like autopilots at a driving school, where they will be taught how to drive race cars. You can have a snack in the themed cafe, and buy a souvenir in the store.

City promenade

Before entering the area with attractions there will be a city promenade. Visitors will be able to walk through different cities of the world and see their sights - Gaudi's buildings, which seem to have been transferred from Barcelona, go to the small Roman Colosseum, and walk along the streets of London and Beverly Hills. You can travel between cities within the park by small train.

Landscape park

A landscape park will be built around the children's center. There are walking alleys, gardens, fountains, playgrounds, one of the largest rope parks, an outdoor cinema with 800 seats and an amphitheater with 1,400 seats.

In the natural part of the park, a new relief is being formed - flat in the south and hilly in the north. Where the work has already been completed, the lawn is being seeded. Experts are planting varieties of bluegrass, fescue, bentgrass and ryegrass. For this purpose, special fertile soil was brought. The sowing area will be more than 220 thousand square meters. meters, which is 30 times the area of a football field.

The park will not use roll-type turf, since natural turf lasts much longer. Moreover, plants that can easily tolerate the lack of sunlight will be planted in the shade. And near the main alleys, children’s and playgrounds, a “velvet” lawn of short, soft grass will be laid out. Wildflowers, unpretentious and drought-resistant, will appear in open areas.

Almost 3 thousand trees will be planted in the park: spruce, pine, birch, oak and maple. In addition, 38 thousand shrubs will appear: thuja, juniper, rhododendrons and azaleas, dogwood and lilac. More than 50 thousand flowers will grow here: tulips, daffodils, hazel grouse, lilies of the valley, crocuses and anemones.

How to get there

You can get to the park from the metro station “Technopark” of the Zamoskvoretskaya metro line, with which it will be connected by a glass pedestrian bridge over Andropov Avenue. Also next door, the ZIL station of the Moscow Central Circle appeared.

A new highway was opened on the territory of ZIL - Likhachev Avenue and streets of citywide importance. In total, more than 30 km of roads and bridges across the Moscow River will be built there. A new bridge will also be opened leading to the “Island of Dreams” across the Kozhukhovsky backwater from the Yuzhnoportovy district.

Parking lots will be built on the territory of the park - underground and above ground - for 4 thousand cars. A hotel with 410 rooms will be opened here for tourists.
