Airport map

Let's consider the diagram of the airport terminal in order to study in more detail the location of the objects that make up the Krasnoyarsk Emelyanovo airport.

Terminals

The airport consists of three terminals. Domestic flights are handled by terminals No. 1 (departures) and No. 3 (arrivals). Terminal No. 2 is international and located separately. Terminal No. 1 is considered the central one and the airport terminal area is located directly in front of it. This terminal is represented by a two-story building with a functioning basement. To the right of terminal No. 1 is terminal No. 3, which, in fact, is a pavilion for arrivals. A kilometer to the left of Terminal 1 is located international terminal.

Box office

In the terminal buildings you can buy two types of airline tickets: for domestic and international flights. Accordingly, ticket offices for flights within the Russian Federation are located in Terminal No. 1 on the ground floor, which can be accessed by passing through the central entrance and constantly moving to the left until the stairs. Having gone down the stairs, you need to move straight and to the right of the visitor there will be ticket offices and airline offices. Chairs can serve as a guide large hall expectations, the rows of which will begin on the same level as the ticket offices.

Tickets for an international flight can be purchased by entering terminal No. 2 (the entrance “looks” at terminal No. 1, and the distance between them is 1 kilometer) and moving straight. The cash desks will be on the right, and on the left side (opposite the cash desks) the administrative office of the terminal will be located. Both facilities operate 24 hours a day.

Passenger registration

Upon arrival at Yemelyanovo airport, passengers can check-in for flights:

  • The check-in counters in terminal No. 1 are located on the ground floor, not reaching the stairs (from the entrance always turn left), on the right side.
  • The check-in counters of International Terminal 2 can be reached by walking between the ticket offices and the administrative building, near the exits to the international departures area. Moving straight all the way, you must turn left, continuing to move, exit into the registration area.

Both facilities are also open 24 hours a day. Registration begins 2.5-3 hours and ends 40 minutes before departure.

On-line registration can be completed if the passenger has access to the Internet. Wi-Fi coverage is available in each terminal. On the official website of the airport there is a section “Services for Passengers”, where you need to enter the sub-item “On-line registration” and select on the page the name of the airline whose services the passenger uses. Next, simple instructions on each of the websites (airlines) will tell you how to check in without having to arrive at the airport many hours before departure.

Parking and parking

There are a number of parking lots on the airport premises. If you are moving from Krasnoyarsk, then when you approach the entrance to the station square, you can take a detour to the free parking lot. This is due to repair work carried out at the airport. The driver must choose the direction opposite to the entrance (to the right of the road leading from/to Krasnoyarsk) and drive to the nearest left turn, then drive straight again and turn left. At the end this route and there will be free parking.

There are also short-term parking lots at terminals No. 1 and No. 2. When moving from Krasnoyarsk to the airport, you should turn left at the turn, which is clearly directed towards the international terminal building. In the case of terminal No. 2, parking is located throughout the entire territory of the terminal building, with the exception of the area under the building itself, where a place is reserved for public transport.

Parking scheme

You can park at Terminal No. 1 free of charge for up to 15 minutes (exclusively for boarding/dropping off passengers). Further payment is 200 rubles per hour (up to 5 hours of downtime). How to get to/from the airport?

The distance from the airport to the city center is approximately 37 kilometers. In order to quickly get to Yemelyanovo airport, you can use public transport routes.

Public transport

You can get to Yemelyanovsky airport using bus No. 513. You need to get on it on Mozhestva Street opposite the Komandor store and drive 11 stops (approximately 1 hour 50 minutes). To get to your destination, you should be aware that after about 1.5 hours of travel the bus will call at Cheremshanka airport. It is important not to confuse it with the main city bus station. The fare is 100 rubles. Considering the huge size of the city and the remoteness of the airport, it is more profitable for passengers to study the routes on the map, get acquainted with the fares and bus schedules of Krasnoyarsk in advance. The route can be viewed in more detail on the website. You can take the same route as described above to return to the city center.

Communication with the railway station and bus station

You can also get from the airport to railway station Krasnoyarsk. To do this, you need to take bus No. 201 at the stop near the station square. Drive 10 stops, which will take more than 1 hour 40 minutes. It is difficult to get to the desired stop, since it is located directly opposite the entrance to the railway station building.

The city bus station can be reached by both routes listed above: No. 513 and No. 201. For both buses, the bus station is the final stop on the route. You will have to travel 12 stops, but due to a small detour, route No. 201 takes about 15 minutes longer, which must be taken into account when calculating your time in the city.

In the opposite direction you can take the same routes.

To get to the Krasnoyarsk railway station, you need to:

  • Leave the airport, turn right and drive straight past the Cheremshanka air terminal for 6 km.
  • At the junction, turn left heading east towards the gardening partnerships. Afterwards there will be another interchange on the Baikal road (R-255).
  • Along the P-255 highway you need to move east past the urban village of Emelyanovo.
  • Further, the road will go south, and the route will turn east. We must continue moving south, there will be a place that you can go around along Moskovskaya Street, about 3 kilometers before the village of Drokino.
  • Immediately at Drokino there will be an interchange, at which you need to turn east again.
  • Before Solontsy, turn south and enter the city, Tsentralny district, along Kotelnikov Avenue.
  • Then the road becomes Bryanskaya Street, and you need to drive along it to 2nd Ozernaya, turn right onto it.
  • Immediately then there will be a left turn onto Severo-Yeniseiskaya Street, which becomes Zheleznodorozhnikov Street.
  • Then there will be a right turn and follow the passage to Maerchanka Street, which runs perpendicular to the passage. Here turn left.
  • Then continue driving south along Maerchanka, it becomes Profsoyuznaya Street.
  • Turn onto Brothers Abalakov Street, which will lead to Station Square.

To get to intercity bus station, follow the route to the railway station until the interchange on Bryanskaya Street. There you don’t need to go to 2nd Ozernaya Street, but you need to turn east onto 2nd Bryanskaya Street. Further:

  • You need to drive 2.5 kilometers along 2nd Bryanskaya and further along Karaulnaya streets.
  • Turn south left onto Chernyshevsky Street and drive another kilometer to Mozhestva Street.
  • Drive through the intersection with Shakhtyorov Street and along Vzlyotnaya Street to the bus station.

Personal transport

What to do if your flight is canceled

If a flight is canceled more than 24 hours before departure, passengers will be transferred to similar airline flights. The carrier bears the costs; the service is free for the passenger. If you are not satisfied with any of the options offered by the airline, most airlines can issue an “involuntary return.” Once confirmed by the airline, the money will be returned to your account. Sometimes this can take several weeks.

How to check in at the airport

Online check-in is available on most airline websites. Most often it opens 23 hours before the start of the flight. You can go through it no later than 1 hour before the plane departs.

To check in at the airport you will need:

    • identification document specified in the order,
    • birth certificate when flying with children,
    • printed itinerary receipt(optional).
  • What can you take on a plane?

Carry-on luggage is the items you will take with you into the cabin. Weight norm hand luggage can vary from 5 to 10 kg, and its size most often should not exceed the sum of three dimensions (length, width and height) from 115 to 203 cm (depending on the airline). A handbag is not considered hand luggage and is carried freely.

The bag you take with you on the plane should not contain knives, scissors, medicines, aerosols, or cosmetics. Alcohol from duty free stores can only be transported in sealed bags.

How to pay for luggage at the airport

If the weight of luggage exceeds the standards established by the airline (most often 20-23 kg), you need to pay for each kilogram of excess. In addition, many Russian and foreign airlines, as well as low-cost airlines, have tariffs that do not include free transportation baggage and must be paid separately as an additional service.

In this case, luggage must be checked in at the airport at a separate Drop-off check-in counter. If you are unable to print boarding pass, you can get it at the regular airline check-in counter, and check in and drop off your luggage there.

Where to find out the arrival time if you are a greeter

You can find out the plane's arrival time on the airport's online board. The Tutu.ru website has an online display of the main Russian and foreign airports.

You can find out the exit number (gate) on the arrivals board at the airport. This number is located next to the incoming flight information.

Well, that's it, guys. One of the main Krasnoyarsk construction projects in recent years has been completed. Now the Krasnoyarsk International Airport (that’s right, “Krasnoyarsk”, not “Emelyanovo”, as before) has a new, spacious, modern, comfortable, and simply beautiful terminal: 58,000 square meters, 6 boarding bridges, 4 escalators, 21 elevator, automatic luggage sorting...and much more. The official opening took place yesterday evening, and today the terminal received passengers of the first flight from Norilsk. A few routine photos from the opening ceremony are in today's report.

The new airport will be air gates not only Krasnoyarsk, but also a large regional hub. The design concept for the new terminal was based on an understanding of the unity of the natural and cultural identity of the agglomeration of the Yenisei River basin. Macroregion, including Krasnoyarsk region, Tyva and Khakassia, has unique natural and cultural characteristics, which are reflected in the interior:

The opening ceremony was scheduled for 17:00. Guests arrived early and everyone had the opportunity to explore the new terminal in detail. I was not as interested as most of the guests, since I participated in testing and looked at everything in detail.

The opening ceremony was attended by acting governor Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Uss, Head of the Republic of Tyva Sholban Kara-ool, acting First Deputy Governor - Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Khakassia Oleg Nam, Head of the Federal Agency air transport Alexander Neradko and General Director of Era Group JSC Alexey Vasilchenko. Guests of the event noted that the updated air gates of the region open up ample opportunities for economic development and the implementation of investment projects:

Airport General Director Andrei Metzler tells officials about the features of the new terminal:

Reception desks currently empty:

Permanent art exhibitions are planned in the new terminal building. Symbolically, the “start” of such a wonderful tradition was given by the works of Krasnoyarsk, the great Russian painter Vasily Ivanovich Surikov:

The basis of the port design concept is Yenisei Siberia and the Yenisei River, uniting the peoples living on its banks. This “regional idea” was evident throughout the evening, including in the concert program: there were no guest stars, only creative groups from the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khakassia and Tyva. Many of them are world famous, such as the Krasnoyarsk State Academic Dance Ensemble of Siberia named after. M.S. Godenko:

Acting Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Uss:

“Starting today, Krasnoyarsk Airport will become, perhaps, the most modern airport in this territory in terms of technical equipment. This is a complex facility, it was built in record time short time, in just a year and a half. And as you can see, it is different in that there is a Siberian soul here. The airport is conventionally called “Children of One River,” and it is intended to become an air gateway to the so-called “Yenisei Siberia” for people who live in Tyva, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, including Taimyr and Evenkia, in Khakassia.”

Alexander Neradko, head of the Federal Air Transport Agency:

“The construction of a new terminal is the first step towards developing the infrastructure of the macroregion and creating an important transport and production hub. Its opening will make it possible to realize the geographical and economic potential of Krasnoyarsk, which is located at the intersection of Eurasian transport routes and has significant personnel and educational potential for starting high-tech production.”

Alexey Vasilchenko, General Director of Era Group JSC (a group of companies with regional participation, owner of the airport):

“The new terminal became the first fully completed facility for the Winter Universiade, which will be held in Krasnoyarsk in 2019. The unique design and interiors of the new airport will allow you to immediately appreciate the scale, significance and grandeur of Siberia. The updated airport complex as a transport and logistics hub will become a driver for the development of the entire agglomeration - Greater Krasnoyarsk. The expansion of international cargo transportation and an increase in tourist flow will allow the areas around the airport to serve as a platform for the implementation of promising projects in production and logistics.”

The airport is open!

And yes, we now also have an attribute of any modern airport, a premium car)

Let's go back a little - on the morning of December 16, the long-awaited testing of the new passenger terminal of the Krasnoyarsk airport took place. Hundreds of volunteers played the role of ordinary passengers for several hours: they checked in for flights, checked in cargo of various sizes as luggage, flew to Moscow, returned from Baykit, and, together with airport employees, found out how ready the terminal was for the opening, scheduled for December 26. A small photo report about how it was, and just pictures that have not yet been published with views of the interior of the new building - in today’s photo sketch.

The clock shows about 9 o'clock in the morning. The first volunteers are already starting to arrive at the pre-agreed meeting point - the transfer hall of terminal No. 2. Some come on their own, others are picked up in the city in organized groups and transported by bus. Upon arrival - standard procedure: checking against the list, receiving a ticket with a task.

Construction and installation work is still underway in the new terminal building, so helmets are required for all participants:

An hour later, the hall is almost full of volunteers, and people are still arriving. In general, Krasnoyarsk residents showed surprising activity when submitting applications: the airport received the required number of applications from potential volunteers just a few hours after registration began.

The press is right here:

It’s about an hour and a half before the first “flight” takes off. Volunteers are divided into groups. According to the test conditions, three flights were “lost”: Moscow (Domodedovo), Baykit and Norilsk - quite a typical picture for the Krasnoyarsk air harbor. Each participant randomly received a ticket for one of the flights and a task for departure and arrival. For example, I got the easiest thing; I acted as a passenger without luggage and flew to Moscow.

Instruction:

Group photo for memory - and into battle:

A group of volunteers from the “Moscow” flight on their way to the terminal.

Immediately after entering, participants are left alone with their tasks: no help or hints. The task is based on voice information, scoreboards, signs, markings, etc. – go through the entire procedure: from check-in to boarding the plane, and then arrival, baggage claim. Do you remember the feeling when you first arrive at an unfamiliar airport and there is an hour and a half before departure? It's the same here too.

Registration:

Many passengers on assignment had luggage:

Baby strollers, gurneys, crutches, bouquets of flowers, teddy bears - all this was also there:

I've completed registration, I have time to look around. First floor and main hall of the new terminal:

A very noticeable element of the interior is a model of the Express satellite platform under the ceiling. An excellent solution for me is this:

This is a universal platform on the basis of which promising communication satellites are created. The production is located not far from Krasnoyarsk, in the closed satellite city of Zheleznogorsk, on the territory of JSC ISS im. Academician M.F. Reshetnev”:

The main “theme” that will be seen in the interior decoration of the terminal is Yenisei Siberia:

Architecturally:

An impressively sized scoreboard is mounted on the wall to the left of the entrance:

View from the second floor balcony:

Third floor, special control zone:

The inspection has passed, the waiting room is in a sterile area:

The missing chairs are installed right in front of us:

View of the platform from the waiting room. A simulator of an aircraft board is visible near the jet bridge, most likely used to train employees to work with the jet bridge:

Boarding the flight to Baykit:

Boarding the flight to Domodedovo:

Boarding the plane as such was not simulated; after entering the gate, the volunteers walked past the jet bridge and went straight down to the arrival area:

Views from the window:

Brand new luggage belts:

By the way, the terminal has one of the most technologically advanced baggage handling systems in the world. Equipment manufactured by the French ALSTEF Automation S.A. includes a 5-level automated baggage inspection system, which will provide complete control over the contents, protection from explosives and other items prohibited for transportation on the plane. There are only a few such systems in Russia now, and we will have one of them.

Passengers returned on a flight from Baykit. The flight was carried out on an ATR-42-500, it did not need a boarding bridge and passengers were transported from the plane by bus:

Test luggage:

Based on the results of completing the task, it is mandatory to fill out a questionnaire, which, in fact, is the result of the volunteer’s efforts. I didn’t have any problems during testing: everything was simple and clear. It didn’t seem entirely obvious which counters passengers without luggage could check in at: the corresponding sign was lit only above counter No. 13, but it turns out you could also go to the neighboring counters, which is what I indicated in the form. That's why it's a test :)

Work is done. The final look - and go home.

Thank you for your attention!
